Frequently asked questions
Do the apps need an internet connection?
No. All content is built into the apps and works offline. The internet is only used to show ads and, in Surah Yasin, to download extra reciters you choose.
The prayer times in Adhan look wrong.
- Check that the correct city is selected.
- In the app’s Settings, choose the calculation method used in your country and the Asr method (Hanafi or Shafi’i, Maliki, Hanbali).
- Make sure your phone’s date, time and time zone are set automatically.
The Adhan or reminder does not sound.
- Allow notifications for the app, and allow Alarms & reminders when Android asks.
- Turn off battery optimization for the app (Settings → Apps → (app name) → Battery → Unrestricted).
- Check that the alarm volume is up and Do Not Disturb is off or allows alarms.
How do I change the language?
The apps follow your phone’s language when it is available. Many apps also let you pick a language with the globe button or in the app’s Settings. On Android 13 and newer you can choose a language for each app in Settings → Apps → (app name) → Language.
I found a mistake in a translation or a reference.

How do I use dark mode?
The apps follow your phone’s light or dark theme automatically. Change it in your phone’s display settings.
Why are there ads?
A small banner ad keeps the apps free for everyone. You can manage ad personalization in your phone’s settings. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Are the device and voice assistant guides official?
No. They are independent, unofficial guides. For warranty, repairs or account problems, please contact the device or service provider.
How do I delete my data?
We do not collect personal data or have accounts. Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your phone, including counters and favorites. See the Privacy Policy.
